Thai Basil Beef, Pad Krapow-Style

Ingredients:
- 1 lb Ground Beef or Bison
- 1 Tbsp. Oil
- 4 Garlic Cloves, minced
- 2 Thai Chilies, sliced (or red pepper flakes)
- 1 Small Onion, sliced thin
- 1 Red Bell Pepper, sliced

Sauce
- 3 Tbsp. Soy Sauce
- 1 Tbsp Oyster Sauce
- 1 Tbsp. Fish Sauce
- 1–2 tsp. Brown Sugar

For Serving
- Steamed Jasmine Rice
- Fried Eggs (optional)
Directions
- Mix the sauce: stir together soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, brown sugar, and water.
- Brown the beef: heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Add aromatics: stir in garlic and chilies. Cook about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Cook vegetables: add onion and bell pepper. Cook 2–3 minutes until slightly tender.
- Finish the dish: pour in sauce and toss everything together. Simmer 1–2 minutes until glossy.
- Add basil: turn off heat and fold in basil until just wilted.
Serving tip: serve with or over rice with or without a crispy fried egg for that authentic style finish
