Protein Bowl with Hot Honey Drizzle

Ingredients

  • 1 lb TD Primal Blend (bison or beef) or Classic TD Ground Bison or Beef
  • 2–3 tbsp taco seasoning (homemade or siete seasoning works great
  • 2 tbsp water (if needed)
  • 2 sweet potatoes, cubed
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 avocado, chopped
  • 4 tsp hot honey
  • Hot sauce (to taste)
  • Pickled onions (optional)
  • Hot & sweet jalapeños (optional)
  • 2 tsp olive oil or avocado oil
  • ½ tsp sea salt

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Toss cubed sweet potatoes with oil, salt, garlic powder, and pepper.
  3. Spread on a baking sheet and roast for 20 minutes, flipping halfway. (Air fryer works too!)
  4. Cook the beef: Heat a skillet over medium-high, add ground beef, and cook for 6–7 minutes, breaking it up with a spatula until browned and fully cooked. Stir in taco seasoning and a splash of water if the mixture is dry.
  5. Assemble the bowls
  6. Divide sweet potatoes between 4 bowls.
  7. Top with beef, then a scoop of cottage cheese.
  8. Add avocado, drizzle with hot honey, and finish with hot sauce + pickled onions or jalapeños.

Storage Tip

Store beef, sweet potatoes, and toppings separately in the fridge (up to 3–4 days). Reheat base ingredients and top with fresh items before serving.
