Garlic Butter Steak Bites
Serves 4 | Prep: 10 min | Cook: 10 min
Ingredients
- 1 lb Steak Ends
- Salt + Black Pepper
- 2 tsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil (plus more as needed for batches)
- 5 Tbsp. Butter
- 2–3 tsp. Minced Garlic
- Fresh Parsley, chopped
Directions:
- Prep the steak: Cut steak into 1-inch pieces. Pat very dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and pepper.
- Sear (work in batches): Heat a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high until hot. Add 2 tsp olive oil and swirl. When the oil shimmers and the pan sizzles, add steak bites in a single layer. Sear 30–60 seconds per side— you’re just building a browned crust, not cooking through. Transfer to a plate. Repeat with remaining steak, adding a touch more oil if the pan dries out.
- Garlic butter finish: Reduce heat to medium (so garlic doesn’t burn). Add butter and garlic to the skillet and let melt until fragrant (about 30 seconds). Return steak (plus any juices) to the pan and toss until your desired doneness. Medium-rare target: 130–135°F internal.
- Finish + serve: Toss with chopped parsley. Serve immediately with mini cocktail forks for an easy, high-impact appetizer.
Serving tip: Pile the bites on a small platter and spoon a little extra garlic butter from the pan over the top right before serving.
